ANKORS (AIDS Network Kootenay Outreach and Support Society) is a non-profit organization serving communities across the East and West Kootenay and Boundary regions of British Columbia. Founded in 1993, we respond to the evolving needs of people living with and affected by HIV, Hepatitis C, and other blood-borne infections, and we work to foster healthy, informed communities through harm reduction, support, advocacy, and education.

We serve people who face barriers to accessing services, particularly those affected by substance use, mental illness, poverty, homelessness, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, and ethnicity. Our programs are guided by a belief in holistic care, the right to dignity, respect, and personal empowerment. We provide services in a non-judgmental manner, without prejudice.
